997.2 GT3 RS
How much should I be paying for one? What should I look for besides welding the coolant pipes?
At around 10k miles I'm seeing asking prices between 170-175k. But what are these actually trading for?
I'm not talking about the unicorn PTS 1k mile ones.

Yeah, I think you are looking at $160k-$180k for one with mileage in the 1X,XXXs (price will depend on the color and options along with the mileage). Btw, there are higher mileage unicorn PTS RSs out there.

Jimmy, I noticed the two RS come up for sale this week... one for $550k and the other for $630k.
997 Gt2 at over $500k and 996 GT2 just under $500
997 GT3's at $190k - $210k
Even 996 GT3's are around $170k
Everyone has gone GT barmy

yes, it's absolute madness!
also checkout the 993 turbos that are listed between $300 - $390k
and a gt4 at $270k.
we should expect a deluge of cars to come on the market very soon. then market forces will come into play......

If you are considering the 991 the 997 is not for you. They are worlds apart.
Yea that is what I figured.....Was thinking of holding out for a 991.2 GT3, but I'm sure there will be like a 5k price increase. The GT3 I wanted now would be like 152-155k. So assuming a 5k price increase let's say 160k. So I thought for 160k maybe I should go try and get a 997.2 RS instead.

A clean low mile .2 RS below 200k is a good deal in my opinion.

Below 200k is not an issue unless it is like stupid low miles.
Yeaaaaaaa that is kinda true and not true. You are assuming I don't like the 997. But I like the 997 and the 991 GT3. So for the money of the 991 GT3, I rather have like a .2 RS and send it to sharkwerks for that 4.1 engine build. Maybe let bbi do some suspension magic. Or just keep it the way it is.
It's do I want an amazing raw purist car or something I could drive every day and still fun. But since I will moving close enough to my work where I could walk, then I rather have the raw purist car since I won't have to put up with it every day like my 997 TTS that I just recently sold.
Hell I still want to get a 964 and do my own budget singer like build on it. Make it a track and summer car.
