he's drooling on smurf pic already
yes, very close. i do not know which will come out on top. but they are close
alex at sharkwerks knows what he is doing.
So actually not much of a differenece performance wise if I read you right? So a normal GT3 (like mine) with a 3.9, complete upgraded suspension, Guards LSD and upgraded brakes would be a nice "cheap" alternative when it comes to just looking at track speed or road driving experience then.

The seats are wide enough - wider than the old ones - and very comfy from this point of view. It is just the angle but maybe it's just personal. I feel the seating positon in the 991 RS to be more vertical or rather not to take account for the lower back as much as the old seat did.

I have owned 5 997GT3:
GT3 2008 sold to get 08 RS,
sold 08 RS to get CGT
bought 997GT3rs 2011, sold to my friend. regretted it. bought it back.
sold 2011 RS to get 2011 4.0L RS.
lost my mind and bought an additional 07RS in green.
I also have 964RSA and think that it's definitely more manly than the 993 but a really beefed up 993RS or my old 993TT twin plug I'd swap for in a heartbeat.
Having driven the new 991RS was actually the impetus for me to get the 997 4.0L. nothing compares unless you go full SW or Bbi engine build.
I think the 997 4.0L is the ultimate and best 911 ever made. I'll never sell mine unless it's to get me into something equally preposterous (mclaren f1, f40, etc)

I'm still wiping drool over that gem. I need the 964 equivalent.
You can keep the 993tt but an rs or gt2 I'm all over that. Maybe the unobtanium of those factors into the desire a bit!

F1 is one of the best things you could really call an investment with 4 wheels. you'd be missing the boat as the scale only keeps going up.

agreed, it will go up a lot further.
but what, is it 10m yet? pretty high entry point compared to others.
wouldn't get driven much at that value, so one would need to have 9 figure net worth to start dabbling in that world. i'm just a poor enthusiast.

i would drive it too!
in fact one that is in aus was driven a lot, and was involved in a highly-publicised accident many years ago, then sent to woking and repaired at great expense.
same with 4.0 or 996rs at less than 1/20th the cost. i would drive those too, whereas many guys here have now put the car covers on them.
