If that work has not been done, you're looking at $20K of maint work (not warranty) on top of whatever the asking price is.
I think my maintenance bills would scare most buyers... ssssssshhhhhhh :-)

This is very good info. Wouldn't the PPI catch all of these things though?

The PPI was done at Champion Motorsports.

FYI, there is a 2007 GT3 RS, 15K miles, $170K on Car Gurus located in Houston. I think it just listed a few hours ago. Black and orange.

No, It will only catch broken things, or basic consumables like brake pads, tires, rotors. They should check engine overrevs, but might not unless you specifically ask.

You would have to pull previous records in order to see all that.

I don't think a transmission rebuild and replacing the CL's every 4k miles is a bit unnecessary. I haven't seen a CL fail with 4k street miles, track miles are a different story. My old car's transmission is still factory I believe with 46-48k miles, and was tracked extensively

The cars condition depends on the driver and maintenance. Simple as that. You treat the car right and she'll last a long time.

If LSD was not replaced that will most likely be needed, if the car will be tracked. The Cam Actuator Bolts are also a potential issue, and should be addressed. They can be replaced with updated parts or simply cross drilled and wired.

Do not sell your 997 GT3/RS. It finally hit me today just how special these cars are and that the values will continue to go up and up. Why? I saw a 991 GT3RS today.

Put it next to a 991 GT3 RS and I take the 997 RS without thinking twice about it.

I parked my 07 GT3 next to a new RS the other day and mine just looked better. JMO.

Even though I love my 991, I think the smaller proportions of the 997 makes it the more attractive car. IMHO.

This! Agree! The 991 is great, but is much wider and longer. Porsche nailed it on the 997; perfect proportions. It's a keeper.
