Default Garage build journal

I had a separate large two car garage that was getting pretty old and rotten so I decided to build a new one. After a year or so in planning I started construction in the spring of 2014. Surprisingly for having a 4 acre lot I was constrained by trees I didn't want to lose and the property line, so it's a little smaller than originally planned, but it makes a great shop!

They were surprisingly cheap so I included them. Chinese manufacturer and fairly old school but they work and will last forever in a hobby garage. Race car gets flats on weekends when the tire shops are all closed so handy to have.

It's a Rotary SL210. It comes in a fiberglass cassette that you lower into the ground, pump is external and the top comes off if you ever need to access the interior. Nice lift and with the ramps instead of arms the access is excellent

Wow Peter. When we chatted at Castrol Raceway I had no idea this was the garage! Next time I am in your area I will pop by.......with some notice of course. I put the GT3 to bed today, so I will be needing a garage "fix" so.
