As crazy as it sounds. It will prob hold its value. Not too many of those running around. So as time goes on and when they stop making them, will become holy grail.
I was thinking of adding one myself but I love the taco wing.

I'd love to find a semi-affordable one as well as I'm not a fan of the looks of the stock setup. Surely the standard .1 lid and wing would be sellable to offset some of the cost. But still not financially feasible/logical when a new one is $13K....plus having it painted properly. <yikes!>

Anyone know if Suncoast ever discounts or runs sales on the OEM RS wing? I'm of a split mind if I'd ever put one on my .1 gt3 but if I did, I'm pretty sure it would at least have to be factory...

the prior owner of our '07 GT3 had a Getty deck and wing put on our car. He had it professionally done, inside and out, fans and ducting hooked up, the inside is as nicely finished as the outside, has of course the center mounted stop light. He has a thread on this forum several years ago, when he had it done, with pictures and such, which you can review. All I can say is that mine is absolutely stunning in fit and finish. I think it cost something like $5K or so on the car. Now, let's see if I can post a picture of it.

Cup S intake on a street car.
Please note that this is a .2 Carbon Fiber deck lid with the Cup S intake on a .1RS (street) with a fan and MAF.
Let me know, via PM.

Hey Akara - I've seen the stuff from Getty and it's generally pretty decent and you can do some level of customization - they're over in Santa Ana locally here - so might be worth a call to see if they can build more of a .1rs lid with a .2rs type air scoop and accommodate the dual cup /motorsport intake that could take your .1rs OEM wing. Usually the Getty stuff will require some working and refinement during painting to get it perfect, but the outcome is nice.
I've also seen a couple bits made by MJSpeed and they were very well done, I just haven't seen a decklid.
For your setup, I think that is key since sounds like you want to retain OEM external look + wing. BIG desktop opening to move air into that 4.25L motor via the Cup S or standard Cup air box with dual intakes. That CupS design looks tasty.
MJ: What does Ranger have on his? Is that his?
