Help asap 997.1 GT2 DME read out!
Hey guys I'm about to purchase a killer 997 gt2 in guards red. I will post pics if I buy the car. I'm at the dealership now about to make the purchase.... So I need fast input!
The dme readout has ignitions in level 5,4,3, and ect. None in 6. Is this common on the GT2?

can you post the readout? #'s in each of the ranges?
GT2 seem to have these, maybe due to the way the turbo spools and carries revs during shifts, maybe due to aftermarket tunes....

if in the last few hours I'd be concerned, if say 20+hours ago then fairly low concern

I'd probably walk, or ask that you can put some hours on it before signing anything...Type 4's JUST happened...

Help asap 997.1 GT2 DME read out!
It looks like somebody had a fun track day prior to trading it in at the dealer, I'd walk due to the recent abuse

i bought a car with range 4s and 5s but i only had a value of 1 in range 5 and a value of 11 in range 4. This one has been rode a little hard just before trade....with that being said most everyone with a turbo merger reports it common to have some 4s and 5s. can you get some kind of warranty?

Porsche will not warrant that vehicle.

I drove the car last before they did a DME readout. I drove it hard to make sure it was fine. I didnt over rev it though. Just took it through the gears hard.
