Yes sir. The hand brake still functions as normal...no change vs. stock, and no modifications required. Our discs bolt up just as a factory disc would.

I currently have the PFC slotted 378mm front rotors and CENTRIC drilled rotors in the back, running PFC08 pads front & rear and have been following this discussion rather closely as the options certainly have increased vs. a couple of years ago.
Right now I need new rear pads (CENTRICS hold up amazingly well, much better than OEM Turbo rotors!), and new front rotors rings.
Did a bit of research and put this (non-exhaustive) table together as a reference for the different price points.
- PFC is the most expensive, on hats, rotors and pads.
- AP Racing is close second
- GiroDiscs (either from APEX or Craig) are almost $300 cheaper than PFC.
Cost of replacement rotor rings varies by around ~$100, so for me to switch from PFC to either AP or Giro based on price point alone does not make sense.
Quality-wise, my first set of PFC rings cracked within 12-15 events. The 2nd set is holding up very well after at least 30 events. No suspicious cracks, but grooves / slots are almost gone...
Sorry for the ignorance, but with all these different options on the rotors can you still use any pad?
My front pads and rotors have only a few months left in terms of life and looking for a nice alternative. I'm planning to track about 5-6 times a year.
Our Essex/AP Racing discs are now shipping. You can definitely get something cheaper, but you cannot get something better. Call Clark at Apex to get some now.

I'm not sure about the other brands, but with our Essex/AP Racing J Hooks you can use any pad that would work with the OEM discs. Our discs are dimensionally identical to OEM.
Do the rear $100 centrics have the exact same cross drill pattern as factory? Just curious if visually they look the same.
Wish they made a front set. That is silly cheap even if they only last several days.
I thought I read the fronts do exist but I can't find the info now. I doubt they would only last a few days, guessing they would last about as long as stock rotors based on my experience with those rotors on other cars.
