Nope. Never heard that before. 96 and check after each run after wheels have cooled down. Don't torque hot. .

Been using 118 for the last couple of years running studs. Never any issues. All the 991 cars have 118 as the torque spec. Bolts are the same size as our cars. The 96 is a carryover from the 80s when aluminum lug nuts were used. When I used to run 96, I had to keep tightening the lug nuts after each session. Just my experience...

Probably right it's fine. Standard torque spect for a grade 8 metric 14 x 1.5 is 115 ft lbs.

That said I don't have issues loosening with 96.

Sadly not from my car. I'm an "analog old fart", not very techie
It was a blast. Those guys with paddles and never having to lift to up shift must be nice. Must say the 991 GT3 is fricken fast but the old girl was more than up to the task.
There were RL members there maybe one could surface.
Heat and humidity were brutal and it's only April. Enjoyed going back home Sunday and jumping in the pool.

Get yourself wired up with an aim smartycam and solodl. It's 100% plug and play. Even mooty is able to get vids :-).
Nice to hear the car is keeping up. I'm sure it was work. Those 991 are very fast.

I'll talk to the guys at Champion about the AIM smartycam.
There wouldn't have been much to see though cuz the old technology, H-pattern and lots of grunt kept them in my mirrors
