Ketchum, Idaho and Bozeman, Montana are my two must-stops every time I do a cross country road trip through that part of the US. No shortage of amazing national parks in that area, and great driving roads.

Thank you for the reply.

I have been looking at some of these roads. Any of these that you are familiar ?

I've done the Ketchum to Boise route a few times.

It's a really nice road and there are a lot of scenic places to stop along the way. We stopped in and walked along Alturas Lake.

This area in Northern Idaho is very nice, too:

Coeur d Alene is a nice vacation spot on a lake there. And it's the last really pleasant place before you hit Eastern Washington, which apart from the Columbia River Gorge, is not overly scenic.

Thank you Viajero for the information.
Final prep completed to car.
Needs quick alignment check as i replaced the hem joints (old ones lasted me 6 years) added some dust boots to prolong life w/ out much maintenance.
Ordered roof storage for the roof rack
& finalizing route - and off we go!

lol 2 main reasons.

1) i didn't have the baths / chemicals up to temp to process for proper 8 hour cleaning like i did w / your stuff.
2) i didn't want to be ocd but i couldn't resist and had to clean shop by EOD Saturday. So only had 2 hours of cleaning in baths.

Would love to but this is more of a road trip on the hiking / camping / biking side of things.
