Road trip #4 w/ gt3 in 16 months
I would like to take a road trip to Idaho or Montana this spring (April or May). I'm open for suggestions on roads / towns that one must visit. I would like to do some hiking/camping at some beautiful national forest in Idaho or Montana. I'm open to suggestions from rennlisters.
p.s. yes cat is coming along again I'll be sure to take pictures of kitty litter installed in gt3 for you guys

Haha, I like how the ****ter is the center of conversation. I'll get pictures.
As for Yumi, I'll have to get some meds to put her to sleep, haha. Maybe I'll ask mrs Mooty for a prescription
Yes, cat gets tossed in the car and she just chills. Sometimes she will hang out on my lap and watch me shift. Funny cat. Like some of you, cat gets pampered up the wazoo by wife as well. Wish I could do mancasion of trackdays, but no time :/

Many places to visit in that part of the world (Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Wind River Range, Craters of the Moon, etc.), as well as many great roads, but the one road that you have to drive (east > west) is US 212.
Make sure that you hit it very early in the AM and I assure you that we'll hear your whoops all the way back to the left coast! I promise that you'll want to turn around and do it again...
P.S. While I understand your reluctance to leave that purdy Tabby behind, I'd find a cat-sitter and do just that...you'll both be much happier.

Might be a good idea to wait until later in the summer as you're prone to hit a late snowstorm. I'm thinking about doing a similar road trip but in reverse. Live in Wyoming and would love to take the GT3 back to Napa and down to SoCal. Timing is tricky though--go too early and hit weather, too late and risk getting stuck behind every Winnebago in the country...
