As long as it had Sport Buckets, I'm a happy man.

The options you really want on GT3 cannot be ordered from factory (exception of 3:rd item for the RS models)

1. Lighter wheels (stock wheels are HEAVY, removes ~20+ pounds of rotating unsprung mass)
2. Rear exhaust muffler bypass (quiet for crusing and howling when you want, removes ~10 pounds of the tail)
3. RS Flywheel (makes the engine rev so much more freely, removes ~10 pounds of rotating mass)

All of the above significantly improves the driving experience on road or track, significantly more than say stereo, AC delete or bucket seats

Bypass and RS flywheel installed on my .1 GT3 a month a go and I am absolutely thrilled! For me this improved the driving experience with ~20-30%!. Will place an order for lighter (and better looking) wheels this week.

Both of my Porsche's have been second hand, so took what the original owners put on the cars. For my '07 Carrera S, it had everything except Nav, even a rear wiper. A really nice, comfortable GT car. I put BBS on it. Sold it several months ago to get our '07 GT3, pretty much only PCCB and leather. But the first two owners had added BBS', full Sharkwerks exhaust, different front sway bar, carbon fiber GT2 Seats, BK harness aluminum contraption and perfectly done 'cup wing. So not a stripper now by any means.

So if i were to go back in time to 2007, and order a new GT3, and had the budget, I would equip it exactly as it sits now in my garage. By the way, we are leaving tomorrow for the Rolex, and will park our white winged warrior in the Grassroots Mag paddock, where we have parked for the past 12 years. We don't use the Porsche Corral, so if you are walking thru, say hi to Chris and I and my two grandsons, attending their first race.

All the best....

Didn't realize you're into watches as well. My AP Diver is my daily beater. None of my cars have crap on dash.

Loaded. Leather dash a must, tons of stitching and Carbon Fiber a bonus. So much nicer to look at. We do spend most of out time inside the car.

Air Con (South Florida Heat & Humidity)
No Radio
No Xenons (They weigh too much)
No Sport Chrono
As little leather as possible...you get the idea...weight is the enemy!

This is funny people claiming a stripper for some track thing. Look at the ferrari speciale. It has all the nice luxuries, such as leather, stitching, cameras, etc......yet it still whoops the GT3 around the track and just in overall every other category imaginable. Please people. Strippers are nonsense. Unless you track this car 99% of the time and then you are the .01% exception.

Can you not order a speciale without all that stuff?

You comparing a car that is far newer and at best 2X the cost.
