Default 2007 GT3 - 20K Miles - Value/Price?

I found a 997 GT3 2007, that I am interested in buying. It has had a couple owners. Has just over 20k miles. It has most options except sport chrono. BLK/BLK in nice shape. It has had previous paint work, no body work though. In todays market what is a fair price to pay for something like this?

I really want a 2010/11 GT3 but would need to anti up 110-130k for one of these. I do not see enough data on the 07/08 GT3.

Thank you!

Look a Porsche of Tysons in VA. Nice blk/blk 07 GT3 with CPO. GT3's are appreciating.

I'd narrow down closer to 85-90K depending on why it got painted. also location matters.

I thought you adamently told everyone these cars are worth 70-75k. At least that was the positioning 3 weeks ago when you got your car.

OP - 75-95k is what these sell for. Generally with these cars you get what you pay for - so inspect the seller and the car then buy based on those criteria

DME/PPI key investments prior to purchase.

Pin coolant lines at least $3k usually $4k plan on that if not done already

I think the .1 is a more raw and therefore a more fun and rewarding car than the .2.

Price $80-90K.

As a passive observer I've noticed that anyone looking for a GT3 thinks they are worth less and that anyone who has a GT3 thinks they are worth more. I remember one thread where I predicted that a .1 RS would be a $75k car at some point in 2014. As you can see I was right on the money

I didn't pay 80-90K but that's what people are asking, as for what they are worth that's a different story. I've never seen a .1 non RS sell for more than 90K.

You can get the coolant lines pinned for WAY less than 3-4K, just have a competent tech do it with the engine in the car, 6-8 hours of labor instead of 25.

Ha! I finally came to the determination that if prices ever got that low there would be 10 buyers for every car. As a result, I "panicked" and decided to drop "way too much money" to pick one up @ $95k in November 2013.

Never heard of someone who has been able to pin all points and replace the plastic elbows for 6 hours while in car. I'd image you got the easy to reach ones and didn't replace the plastic elbows

My view on all these things is pay up once correctly and don't take short cuts

For anyone interested recent purchase prices on '07 cars: I decided that I would have to spend the money to get the right car for me, and spending a few thousand more was not going to be a deal breaker for the right car. After my son and I studied the market for several months, we realized we needed to be ready to act promptly when car was found. I sold my '07 Carrera S for more than most, as it was a better car than others available, shot some really nice pictures of it, sold via AutoTrader.

So my son on this forum found someone thinking about moving up to an RS, and paid $86 for a 25K mile car, leather, PCCB, plus carbon fiber GT2 seats, BBS, full Sharkwerks exhaust, BK harness bar system with Shroth, nicely done 'cup wing, and since sold new Cup tires. The car has perfect paint, came with recent fluids, battery, little items like that, needs only soon to be done coolant fix. Had four DE's total on the car.

So that is our recent car's cost. Heading down the Rolex tomorrow.

All the best.....
