Hey gents,
We need a bit of input regarding noise regulations at Laguna.
If anyone is up for a quick chat, please shoot me a note at maz@singervehicledesign.com
Thanks!!

Yup there is a guy in a golf cart with a mobile Db Meter, that's what caught me last time I ran LS in my GT3 with Sharkwerks bypass ... they got me around 96db...
ALl you can do then is mitigate (if possible) then ask for a sound check lap which you can "fake" as you pass the static sound station on the uphill section
between 5 & 6 (before the bridge)
If the mobile guy gets you on that lap ... your done ... and your beautiful Singer goes home!
But dont forget to gun it on the way out in defiance!

I got busted 4 times in a stock Boxster S. 94.8,94.6,95.2 and went out with a blaze of glory at 98.6 with stock sport exhaust...Ok on the last lap I got as close to the sound meter as possible and hammered it up the hill..LOL

Here is the cup car in front of me. Now this would look good on a Singer...

An important tip for newbies: the sound meter cannot differentiate between cars when there is more than one passing the booth, even if the operator knows which one is louder. That means that you get a free pass and don't have to wave it off.

Good job! With stock headers, stock center but secondary bypass I couldn't come close to passing; had to lift past the sound booth to survive and fortunately no mobile guy present.
