Default Opinion on .2 GT3 for Sale

Hi,

I recently started my search for a GT3 and I found the following car for sale in Texas.

http://www.dallasmotorsports.com/web...exas/17670729/

Does anyone know the history of this car or has seen it in person? The car has been for sale for awhile now which seemed strange given it appears nicely optioned. From the mods, the car was likely tracked which doesn't scare me as long as the car has been well maintained.

Any feedback would be much appreciated. Also, does anyone have a recommendation for a shop in the Dallas area for PPI?

Thanks in advance and super excited to join the community!

-Carlo

Are you sure that's the same car? I thought he sold all the track parts off of his?

Thanks. I've had a few PMs recommending Charlie. If I move forward with the car above, I'll send the car his way.

Please check your PM.

I know the car and the current owner personally. Current owner went back to a .2RS. In person the car is beautiful although I haven't micro-inspected it. I was considering buying it before it was listed but in the end decided the price difference between my .1 and this .2 was more than I wanted to spend for the amount of improvement I'd gain.

I do currently have a car for sale at Dallas Motorsports but have no affiliation to them or history with them. They certainly seemed to be some real straight-shooters and were highly recommend.

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up going with another vehicle, but your friend's car was very tempting.

I have bought and sold 3 or 4 cars with Jonathan from DM while he was at his previous spot and he has always been great to deal with.

This is my car. I'll be glad to answer any questions. The car has no paintwork. When I bought it it was completely paint metered.

Long story is this. I sold my .2 RS in anticipation of my 991gt3. We all know all the problems with the 991 cars so mine was delayed. I bought this car as an interim. A friend decided to sell his RS and I couldn't turn it down. This car went up for sale. I chose to not by 991 gt3 and wait on 991 RS.
