I can't criticize. As soon as I watched him discuss "the vent designed to keep this bad boy planted to the ground" and watched him bob his head back and forth to the killer Bose stereo, I was sold. This bad boy has been planted to ground in my garage ever since - and I occasionally bob my head back and forth to the stereo - oompha, oompha, oompha, oompha, oompha. :-)

That thing is a beauty for sure!
Congrats!

Could it be the car I followed for a few laps at Sebring in early 2010? Video Link: http://youtu.be/R8FqicFo5YQ

If this guy approached me at a dealer I would run away.

All good fun. Like most of us, I already knew exactly what I wanted and that dealer just happen to have it at that time. The quality of the video (and a few pics) saved me a plane ticket. Most good branding and marketing involves a little cheese :-).
P.S. He's probably just a hired gun to make vids but that dude has sit in some of the finest and rarest Porsche's in the land. Hope he appreciates that fact and keeps a library of his vids.

for what its worth from a completely independent objective party that doesn't know secret collector or Eduardo, I read absolutely nothing into his use of the word "pilgrim", other than maybe someone that has watched too many john wayne movies... I read it purely as a colloquial term like, "buckaroo", or "dude", etc.... not trying to poke my beak somewhere it doesn't belong, just saying, that sometimes things come across different than intended without in person context...
back to topic, $180k seems like a good price, considering the rarity and mileage, and considering that there are low mileage 2010 GT3 RS cars trading not far from that...

If this is bad etiquette, steer clear of any other forums, it's much less friendly over there.

A teaser picture of this GT2 can be found on our FB page:
https://www.facebook.com/10660975602...type=1&theater
According to my database, this was the last North American 997 GT2 produced, out of 24 built, and one of two non-metallic PTS in 2009.
Serial #8100
This was likely the most heavily optioned one as well. Somebody is going to get a winner.
