In fairness to all of you ordering a set of Inserts from outside the US, I have now reduced the international shipping charges as well.

Thanks!

I installed the harder, black inserts and the shifting is improved under braking; in fairness I also installed the cup cables at the same time, but I think the inserts probably helped more under braking as they help limit transmission movement. There is no noticeable increase in noise with the stock DMFW. With the SMFW there was increased noise over stock, as expected, but don't believe the inserts contributed much.

Overall, a good product that is easy to install and easy to remove, should you want to.

Thanks for the review!

Yes, the key to more solid, controlled, and consistent shifts is to limit the excessive drivetrain movement experienced with OEM bushings, especially under higher g forces. The inserts also far lessen the likelihood of missed shifts!

The installation instructions at the bottom of the product page provide a good guideline. Only difference with the GT2/3 is that you will unbolt and remove the transmission carrier from the car, in which the 2 OEM bushings reside, in order to install the inserts. Otherwise, process is nearly spot on.
