Default 997.1 Suspension Overview

Hi guys,

I’ve been doing a series of suspension overviews. I started with the newest 991 Generation and now I’m working my way back. The subject this time is a 2007 997.1 GT3. This overview documents the suspension configuration and explains differences that are found between the regular “street” version and the GT3. Please follow the link and check it out.

Special thanks to Alex, Dan and James from Sharkwerks for letting me in their shop. You guys are awesome.

I think you mean a 2007 or 8. No 2006 997 GT3s.

Very cool- thanks for sharing. Winder how much the spring swap out helps for a tracked GT3? Most swap out coil overs

Nice write up.

Quick correction: "they are 350mm in diameter". This only goes for the rear PCCB's. Fronts are 380mm diameter.

Default factory setps and Techart springs?

Hello,

Nice overview GT3 suspension.

I have couple questions.

1. Can someone also update here factory setups about suspension, front and back?

I mean many of here like me buy second hand GT3 and would be nice to check is someone change something about suspension like sway bar setups (holes,my was 4 hole and i changed it center)or camber plates thickness or car high measurement around..i dodnt find here factory setups ..or well easily at least.

2. THis is also related of first question. Document I find out that Techart springs in front and rear have been changed. Where i can find them in market or where i can buy them. Am interested also to change them.

thank you in advance. and enjoy Sunday drive..I will
