Nice photo. Going to VIR with NNJR at the end of the month. If the weather is good I'll drive over to the Dragon and then head over to the Blue Ridge for a leisurely return trip. I might be a little late for the best colors.

Where in NC are you? We don't have that level of colors changing yet here in the Triangle.

That's a beautiful picture! Must have been quiet roads that you could stop the car and run back and take the pic. I'm glad you recognized what a cool shot that would be and made it happen

Nice! I just returned from a trip to WCU to watch my son's football game. The mountains are amazing now.

I took the family up to Asheville last week... the leaves weren't as nice as in your pictures, but there was also very little traffic so I was happy.
