Greetings,
I am in the process of purchasing a 2010 GT3 RS. What did these cars come with new/ie: what should I expect to receive with the car in terms of wrench/socket for the centre lock wheels?
Thanks,
Mark

Comes with a centerlock socket. You will need:
-the correct torque wrench depending on your method
-a big *** breaker bar OR a torque multiplier
-jack and jack stands when you torque the nuts
-centerlock grease

If you go the torque multiplier route look for a 1/2" input with a 3/4" output which will allow you to use a 1/2" torque wrench. If you get a digital torque wrench that allows CW and CCW you won't need the big a$$ breaker bar.
I currently use a 6:1 TM and digital TW.

Alan C - With a TM will I save my back? I just swapped my rotors this weekend and I actually bent my SnapOn Torque wrench breaker bar trying to loosen the CL! I have the same one Curt has. My back is fried today.
Do you have the name, link for your TM. What is CW and CCW?
Thanks!

The torque multiplier I use is made by Armstrong Industrial. The model number is 64-832. See attached photo. The box is about 16x12x5". Look around and you can find more reasonable models.
With a 6:1 ratio you only need to apply about 74 foot pounds of input torque. Pretty easy with a 24" 1/2" torque wrench which would equate to you applying 37 lb. on the wrench. On the back issue if you apply 440 ft. lb. the break away torque could easily approach 530 ft. lb. to remove the nut.

I can attest to 530lbs to loosen the nut!! Bent the Snap-On breaker bar and my back....Just ordered the torque multiplier. I'm all done with the 4' Torque wrench! Thanks!
