Bummer. I assume now that with a multiplier braced on the deck you don't need to find someone to stand on the brakes?

Get a 1.5" x 24" piece of PVC pipe. Tape or pad one end. Put the protected end against your seat. Let the seat come forward with the other end of the tube against your brake pedal. Continue to move the seat forward putting pressure on the brake pedal. That's your second person substitute. Don't forget to start your car first.
