Default Post recordings of your GT3 brake squeal!

My goal is to pay homage to the cacophony that is GT3 brake howling by convincing others that sounding like a cement truck whilst braking is perfectly...normal 😃

One of you says PFC08 is quiet and the other says loud. Which one is it? Lol!

Do the PFC08 dust a lot?

think it's primary my 11's in the rear that are wicked loud...lots of stop-n-go driving lately likely isn't helping either...
Going from dead-slient Stoptech (NoStop ) pads to chalk-board (PFC) pads is completely worth it in stopping power...half the time you can't hear them over the straight-pipes and clutch/trans..

Endless ME20's. They do dust but little to no squeal.

Odd- have had PFC08 on two cars now with no squealing but I do track as well, so maybe have just whipped them into submission?

my PCCBs only squeak when warm, not when cold. And only from front right!

My Pagids squealed like a stuck pig until I had a track day on them. Now they are quiet (bedded in).

Mine did the same thing. Take your wheel off and check for uneven wear. One of my pads was worn to the rivet at the bottom corner. New pads and very quiet.

Stock Pads will squeal and so will pagid track pads (RS29)
However, with good bedding or plenty of use the squeal will go away on both pad compounds.

It all depends on your useage and temperature/climate. Glazing the pads and then lightly driving will cause squeal.

Get some ceramic pads for the road and then use whatever track pads you want...will quiet everything right up (have them in my RS and they are MAGIC...COMPLETELY silent and VERY low dust).
