One way you can tell how your pressures are working for you is get a piece of chalk, draw a line across the tread of the tire, drive in a straight line, then check the line. Is it even wear, is one side off more than the other, etc etc and adjust pressure accordingly

When you say drive in a straight line are you talking 5ft, 100ft at a slow speed?
