Dear PAG
Please may I request you take a deep breath, sit down and just take a few minutes to come to your senses.
I have no problem with you pushing the boundaries and seeking to take on Ferrari or McLaren at their own game but please don't lose sight of the greatness you have, or dare I say had? (GT3/RS).
You see, the very car you have such a faithful following of - the GT3 and more pertinent to this letter - the 991 GT3RS - should be your focus to get right and out to the faithful. There are many waiting with baited breath in the hope the car will soon be released and that it will be the car we have all yearned for.
Me, when I see articles like this, I do scratch my head and wonder why such focus would be put on this rather than you just getting on and finishing the 991 RS - cause this car will be a Ferrari and McLaren beater!
I am certain if you adopt the approach of finishing one project before you get clouded by multi-tasking many projects, you will find many happy customers and faith restored in the brand; The RS deserves this. So do we - your customers.

This has been coming for a while, the 911 platform just cannot compete with the front or mid engine cars specifically because of it's aerodynamic limitations. They can't get enough downforce in the rear without undue drag (they essentially can't run the rear diffusers the other configurations can), and are not able to balance it with the front.
To stay competitive they pretty much had to go mid-engine. It has been a long time coming and the wheels were set in motion with the Carrera GT.
The 911 platform has essentially become Porsche's Sport Touring platform.
