Default GT3 Backed Into Today

I was in a parking lot today and a women backed into me. She said my car was so small she couldn't see it. God help any kids in her neighborhood. A local deputy investigated and placed the fault with the driver that hit my car. The driver was insured. Couldn't issue a citation since the car was on private property.

So the question is to sell it or repair it. At 4:59 PM it was a zero issue 13,200 mile perfectly maintained and CPO'd car. Not any more.

Thoughts?

Repair at high end shop in Cinci. Demand diminished value compensation and hire an expert to represent your claim. Go to court if need be to collect.

not a hard fix.
Repair and move forward. Keep photo for resale time.

Not many red 997.2 to choose from therefore resale will still be fair when the day comes.

Sell it. It's clearly damaged goods and has little value to anyone. I'll do a rennlist member a favor and offer you $25k as is. That way you no longer have to look at it in this state. Pm if interested.

(Seriously? This **** happens. Get it fixed and enjoy the car. A good body shop will make it perfect. )

To actually post this- just sell it for peace of mind. No car is that invaluable. Move on. Mike

I think the only issue is when it comes time to sell it. If you get stamps for diminished value, then you are once again whole.

You get the car fixed, it's undetectable to anyone and you enjoy it as much as you ever did. When it comes time to sell it, you try to get every penny and if you don't, you have the diminished value cash already in hand. It's no loss.
