I think Eddie initially was running a legit business, then somehow it just degenerated to this scheme he is doing right now. I wish I could contact him. I really do not want to harm him, would like to avoid any lawsuit, especially criminal one, however he should not continue what he is doing and should compensate all his customers.

I agree with you IRguy, on the phone Eddie seems like a good guy with a genuine desire to make things right. But that is the reason why I - along with many others - waited from 2013 to just recently to out him and his scam, and during this time he suckered others into his scheme.

If there is a way not to press criminal charges, and if he shows genuine effort to make things right, that would be the preferred course of action. BUT I doubt that is possible if simultaneously he continues to do stuff like his Ebay scam.

Guys, I was very busy last week, BUT still working on this. I have to say the best info and advices came from this forum (even legal ones) There is some impressive accumulated knowledge on this forum and not just about cars.
I will be on vacation next week. Which is big and rare thing for me so I may not be that active on this thread, however there are some ground work to be/will be done for potential legal action.
Try to inform you about all development. Will setup a google document soon (letters ect) and will email, PM whoever is involved the access to those documents.
Thanks

Unfortunately, I didn't check for these threads before ordering my brake pads from RPW. I will be able to request a credit card refund no problem, but during my communications with Eddie I have been able to ascertain that he is checking his emails from West Palm Beach, Florida.

I hope this is of help to the cause and of some reassurance that he hasn't fled the country yet.

Someone should hire a PI and go find him. The focker deserves to pay for what he did.

I see he has relisted my cup airbox: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=171392763405
I have complained to ebay against 911warehouse (RPW). will see where that goes. Suggest others do the same. If enough complain they may take action and close his account.

Make sure you use 911warehouse as well as RPW and Race Parts Ware House in any thread, post etc so it gets google hits and get this information out there to protect others.

I have had some very good feedback from ebay. They have 'concerns' with 911warehouse/RPW from feedback left and from direct contact like mine and they are investigating.

If you have been effected please send a message to ebay... go to the help centre and 'report seller'. I copied the invoice and emails over as evidence along with the listing of 'my' cup airbox. We can stop other unsuspecting buyers getting caught.

Looks like he owes well north of $100k.

Some of his associates have pulled back from him because of these threads.

I will keep chasing them and him down as well as suppliers etc.

And if you haven't seen this: https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...-baptista.html

looks like Eduardo has sold a car that was leased! Now the lease company/law enforcement are after him and his wife.

I am back from vacation.
Got a letter from the Florida attorney general office. It seems, based upon this letter, that it would be beneficial if we file separate complains online rather than one with multiple cases. Here is the website:
http://myfloridalegal.com/pages.nsf/...257B05006E32EC
So please file one online!
Thanks,
Attila

I have lodged a complaint

It doesn't take long

In my case I am doubtful of recovering any money but I hope my complaint may either assist those in the USA to get theirs or at least assist the AG in FL to build a case
