Rhonda at FVD is AWESOME. I am sure if you call her she can help. I had a customer couple weeks ago with exhaust that was butchered by install at a Porsche dealer. Trying to fix, one of the clamps had been overtightened and stripped. Called Rhonda and got a new clamp next day and at no charge to the customer.

Quick update: The list is very long now - long enough that consumer protection cannot ignore it.
I talked to the Florida Attorney General Office. Based upon that conversation we will file the claim on line and I also planning to send an official letter. I will circulate that here before I send it. The same letter will be sent to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services

Then I hire a lawyer who will pursue a private lawsuit against Eddie and his estates. He will also file a criminal case against him.

Planning to collect the cases this week, then write the letter on the weekend circulate it here, potentially change it, then send them out next week. Then start calling both agencies regularly to push them to do their job. (my secretary will do that) Depending on the initial response from the agencies I hire a lawyer.

If you do a search on Eduardo Baptista, RPW, Eddie Bapista, Race Parts Warehouse, you will find enough threads to give you a pretty good picture of the allegations that are mounting. Distressing at best.

Well, basically he sold parts which he did not have or did not intend to sell. Customers paid, and no merchandise arrived and no refund.

Without mentioning my source, I received some information that Eddie may be moving back to Brazil to avoid any litigation (jail time). That means I would like to put the letter together this weekend.
So if you have anything to ad to the list this is the time!

Well, I know Eddie is married and his wife has a business, and they have a house. So first thing is to sue the company, then try to pierce the corporate veil to go after him personally... Not a lawyer, but this is typically how these things go...
