Default E46 M3 for sale

Hi Guys,

I'm cross posting this because many of us either had M3's, or still want them for either daily, or as dedicated track cars to compliment our GT3. Well, the time has come for me to sell the E46, as I am replacing it with a more stock daily driver. Here is the thread with pics: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=483355

This car is literally ready to either go right to the track, be a daily driver, or be gutted for a full-race application. Most of the major work has already been done, and I mean lots. Most importantly, the engine is in perfect shape, and the tranny is bone stock and perfect. Vanos still in spec.

Front and rear subframes have been welded, new subframe bushings, and the list goes on and on. Newly serviced ST40 calipers, new battery, new engine mounts and FCAB's.

I’m putting my M3 up for sale. I want to try and sell it in our community before listing anywhere else, as I’m not going to part things out and put it back to stock anymore than it already is. It’s got everything done that you would want for a dual purpose car, and outside of race seats, it’s ready to be a full track car as well. I’ve included a quick writeup, let me know if you think anybody might be interested. It’s stock enough that it’s still completely streetable, as a street only car, or ready for track time. I simply don't use this car anymore, as my GT3 has taken its place.

For sale: $29,500

Low mileage, no sunroof, all necessary longevity upgrades taken care of and it's the right color.

My goodness, so bleeping glad I'm not in your neck of the woods or I would've bought this in a jiffy. This is just the right specs for a trackable DD!

You ever get your brakes to work well? I imagine those ST40s help

I would boil my fluid constantly at laguna, even with brake ducts and high temp fluid. I was on oem rotors and calipers though

Yeah, the Stoptechs were the final piece to the puzzle. I still bled after every event, but the car stopped fine.

However, my car, compared to other full interior cars, was very light. I corner balanced at ~3175 with a braille lightweight batter and 1/2 tank of gas. No sunroof, which is super rare, and manual seats were the ticket...and helped in the brake zones, compared to alot of other guys with stock-interior cars carrying 150-200lbs more weight.

This car bruised some GT3 egos in the corners, back when I was tracking it.....in fact, with the full interior and custom bolt in rollbar, it's my M3 version of the GT3.

Unlike all other M3 roll bars, my rollbar simply bolts into the floor seat belt mounts (with a big "foot" on the floor board) and the rear seat belt mounting points, not the wheel wells, so it doesn't damage any of the car, and unbolts right out. Raven motorsports in Canada builds them, they are incredible, and meet safety specs, and really stiffen the chassis because the anchoring points are the seat belt anchors. Pictures show the full interior with it mounted, pretty awesome. Not to mention, it's chromoly, so it's light and strong.

Congrats on the sale. I see you are in Louisville, so where do you get the cars (Porsche/M3) worked at?

I am very suprised as twice Mike suggested repairs on my C2 Turbo that weren't the case and even after several years, it still didn't need those repairs.

Unfortunately, I will have to pass on his shop. Wish it was another shop though
