At cota this weekend I was talking to kyrocks, and he was playing with his rear wing trying to see if he could find more speed by dialing it back. I had tried to adjust mine a while back and didn't actually take the screws completely out to notice that there was another hole that adds ~2degrees of wing. He set me straight, and I proceeded to I dial in max wing as fast as I could find two torx sockets....and oh boy, that transformed the car. Despite the drag, it was good for at least a second or two (given my ailing tires). It allowed me to run my heat-cycled-out R1s all day sunday without any frustration. Highly recommended.

Sweet I'll have to make that adjustment after my summer break.

yes, most dont know the lower hold is "8" shaped. it's not two hole but one "8" shaped hole. you can change angle of attack. or you can get my oem cup wing. take off 6 screws on your wing and this thing bolts on in 10 min.

The cup wing mounts onto the OEM uprights? Does the cup wing provide significantly more downforce?

Even my newbie self felt difference with lots of added rake. Long high speed sweepers were much more stable.
What do you guys run? I think I'm 2degrees from max around 7 degrees now. No kicker thing on back either.

How do you adjust the wing on a non RS?

I'm glad you commented on this. My tech set my wing with an aggressive rake when I bought it and I was wondering if the benefit in the corners was worth the extra drag on the straightaways. He mentioned to me he'd go more neutral if I switched to a GT2 rear sway bar. I don't plan on making any changes at this point though.

ur current upright has 3 screw on each side of the duck tail. remove all 4 screws, take off the wing, enplate and upright as ONE unit. then bolt the cup wing, endplate and upright to the 6 holes.
remember my big wing car?
yes a LOT more downforce
T8 at TH and riverside at BW u feel it. T9 at WS

The aero from the wing is very real. With the Baron+3 uprights the difference is even more dramatic. Top speed difference is nearly 5mph between the two settings (non-scientific, given different stretches of road and different weather conditions) but you get the drift.
After driving .2 RS with max wing on raised uprights, hopping into a .1 Cup with standard wing will make you realize what aero REALLY does for our cars.
