Default Front rubbing w/ nitto nt01

Anyone else seen any rubbing on the inside of the fender liner when using the nitto nt01 245/40-18? After 2 days..I have a nice half dollar size hole in the front most part of the liner. Exactly where the side indicator light is. I can tell it is a tight fit using the highly precise finger test.

This same test with identical wheels and the 245/35 R6s shows a lot more space.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm running 18" CCWs with 245-40-18 NTs and do not HAR any rubbing even at full lock. My height is stock with -2.2 camber and 1/16" toe out. On my 6tt I ran 235s and had similar rubbing even with spacers but the car was quite low on old PSS9s.
It might be a offset and alignment issue-

Yeah my 245 nt01 tires don't rub, at full lock with 18"s I get the lower air ducts rubbing a bit on inside weights on rim. That's it.

What's the caster in your car? If shims were used to increase caster which is a good thing it pushes wheel forward. Also not all tires are alike. Are the nitto tires taller than r6? Mike

turn strut, then add shim to optimize caster.
increase camber and run small dia spring.
i used to run 9.5" CCW in narrow body 6gt3. no rub. though i did have to roll fender a bit as the car was at cup car ride height.

I have 9" ccw wheels up front and currently run -2.5 of camber. I honestly don't know my offset. I used to have the car at cup car height and have the ccw 9.5 wheels. It ate through my fenders very quickly. Just replaced them and raised the height to 96.

With the 9" wheel...what is the best caster and camber settings?
Thanks for the help!

I run the 9" CCW wheel, and camber is -3 with caster about 8.2 degrees. Works fine with Nittos.
