Spent week in the southeast, North/central FL/ATL road trip visiting clients. Hot, humid, and thunderstorms. St. Pete is kinda nice though, a bit like coastal socal w/o the hills and with more humidity. LOL Come back here. HOT, fires. But it's a dry heat.

Running The Ridge
Ran The Ridge Thursday with HOD, Good group well run, in advanced pass anywhere with point bye. Ran Friday with Turn 2 not so good management, I was put in intermediate with restricted passing to 2 really short zones and the front straight. When I asked Tom about moving to the advanced group he said I ONLY put people I know in the advanced group. No offer of a check ride so I just walked away and filed Turn 2 as one of those groups I will not run with again if I ever come back.
The track is HOOT to drive but be warned the facilities are minimal. Porta Potties, no electric, no water and no fuel at the track. If you need anything more than 92 octane you need to bring it with you or do what I did and add Torco to boost the octane.
The video is my fast lap chasing a .2RS, and the driver is a really nice gentleman and he was running 1:55's by the afternoon. I was leaving speed at turn 1 over slowing and the carousel was sucking me in a little early.

Tim's coached me to a 2:06 on the speed ventures track.
VBox does not know S/F coordinates of the club track. 8 sessions today on 2 tracks. Awesome.

Got to meet Peter and Lar at SM today, great guys. Unfortunately my car quit on me after 3 sessions, right when the temps were dropping and everyone left. Peter was out with a whopping 3 cars on track last session. Looking good.
