Can we put different years of GT3 into ranking?

Totally agree!
I believe that the 996.2 RS will eventually be considered the "2.7 RS" of the GT3's... that car is the ultimate of the "analog" GT3s ... everything after that
has certainly been faster, but I think this car is the one that makes a driver
work to extract the best of it, and is thus the most rewarding... at least for
me.
I am sure that the 4.0 is the pinnacle of the 'real' Mezgers (oh oh) but I think the 6 is still the best raw experience... like single malt vs blends...
If anyone wants to give me one ... I'd happily accept one!

996 GT3's are just awesome and raw (I loved mine best until I drove the .1RS) - Awesome to drive, very fast and best if money is an object.
997.1 GT3/RS almost as raw as the 6 (only TC and that can't be turned off), an improved 6, much better looking than the 6 and very much the most modifiable with the most amount of upside potential of all the 997's. Suspension upgrade is a must. (Best looking, almost as raw as 6, best for mods and tinkering and NO CENTER LOCKS)
997.2 GT3/RS would've been the best if not upstaged by the 4.0 and cam actuator issues and CL, just a great stock GT3. (Best in stock form)
4.0 it's the pinnacle but it does have some flaws, CL and some engine issues (PAG is on the 5th gen oil pump for it). (Most collectable)
So I would pick each of them as the best for different reasons...
991 GT3's are not GT3's, they're the 991 GTS rebadged for marketing purposes.

No seriously, what's the difference between a 991 "GT3" and a 997 GTS? Aside from the obvious of one being a 997 and the other a 991...
Don't they both use the same engine and gearbox? Same center lock wheels?
This doesn't take away from either cars capabilities, after all our resident bionic drummer has been giving his 997 GTS the beans for quite some time now.

I don't use these cars as DD but what's the point of having them if you don't drive them. For those people I recommend to invest in art!!!! Paintings just don't do it for me… Saying that, I actually like art that has a porsche crest on it
