You definitely can't use the stock pads....just like with any car including the GT3 . But I doubt you will void any maint as long as you are not blatantly tracking the car.

It says performance pads..
I have to think that the 6 piston bigger ceramics will hold on longer than the 4 piston smaller steels...

peter, i know you are curious and like to learn, but tracking a post '04 bimmer is just plain wrong.
don't do it.
bgb cayman 3.8s powerkit is much better option if you are not wanting to get another 7 or even 6gt3.

i was at my merc mechanic yesterday and he has a project tarmac spec 190e he is working on.
2.3 cosworth with itb's.
stripped with fullcage and tank + driver weight at 980kgs. loved it!

I met a Canadian tracking a 2.3 16 :-)
I have to get me wife a car so this is as close to a track car I may be able to talk he into!

I may be looking at BGB next year, let me first pay the repair bill on the RSA...

perhaps New Cayman or 991 Carrera for wifey?

If you did a BGB, would you roll bar it for road & track or go full cage and race it?
