i had the following conversation with chasen.

mooty "dayum. iphone shows rain at TH. i have slicks....."
chasen "i sure aint driving my gulf cup bsr in the rain. you know how long it would take to clean it up afterwards? took two weeks after the north trip in the wet"
mooty "we'll go BBQ then"
chasen "of course, why you think we take such big trailer to TH? go driving? pshhhhhh..... we just eat and drink root beer"
mooty "we need to order some almond death croissants from that french dude... else Chris wont goo..."

NT-01? i have no idea. i dont do rain. when it's wet, i drink mocha and day dream red heads.

Amateur? One of my most fun days on track ever was in the rain. How does one become more like Senna without practice.

You're right though. No almond squares and I'm out!

BTW, steer clear of redheads. They're all crazy; especially the one I live with.

And the midwest and east coasters will laugh their asses off at us whimpy CA people....

I drove NT01 on track in wet/light drizzle conditions not "rain", no standing water/puddles, and they had full tread. They were OK.

Gonna be in the 80's and sunny at the track down here all weekend!

I have run many track days in the rain on NT-01s. Not the fastest tire for the rain but you can still be at the pointy end of the fast guys on track with full tread. If the track starts to dry your all ready to hammer down.

It's not horrible to drive nt01 in the rain. If I had windows I would have tons of fun doing some drifting!

I'm glad we opted for the desert instead of the rain up north. I'll bust out the shaved RA1s with the NT01s fronts this weekend.

Yeah, this is one of the reasons I won't go to the track when it rains and just imagine if you flip your car....YIKES! Did any mud get inside the car?

Not inside the car, but it took FOREVER to get all of the mud out of the wheel well, suspension, and inside of the bumper. Caked.

Joe: Nice vid. Maybe I'll take my M3 instead lest I become like Farmer Mooty in search of the property line.

Lar: may Willows look like the reflection of the sky in your avatar. If not BBQ!!!!

Mooty: Have you at least had the forethought to hire umbrella girls from the local strip club?

Don't mind driving in the rain as long as I don't spin and go sideways and rollover. Mike
