Default Castrol Optimol TA / Centerlock nut grease equivalent?

Having a difficult time sourcing a local supplier for Castrol Optimol TA. Porsche dealerships I've called tell me their techs use it but they don't sell it to the public.

Can one of you point me to a source for it or something equivalent? I am driving up from San Diego to Los Angeles to my mechanic tomorrow morning, any shops you guys can suggest that might have some to sell? Thanks

Haven't been able to buy it from anywhere other than Porsche parts... They often have to order it in. Try Suncoast or Sunset Porsche if you're in the US...

Your dealer has misinformed you...

If it has a porsche part number, and its not out of stock, your dealer can sell it to you. I'm surprised they would say otherwise...

I've got one coming in from suncoast, I ordered on Monday but still don't even have shipping information. Only 1 dealership (downtown LA) said they could special order for me, but my tires are dangerously low and the best time I have to get tires/alignment done is this weekend. Bought the other tools this week, so I'm hoping this grease isn't going to put everything on hold for 2 weeks.

Any aluminum based anti seize I can use as an equivalent?

Loctite do a similar product but with CLs being questionable as is, I'm not sure I'd use anything other that OEM recommended... are there no dealerships with motorsport departments near you???

If you're compitent with the procedure, you could always get the work done, pop on the bolts as is and regrease them once you get the grease from suncoast. Just no hard driving or track work till then.. Plenty of threads on disassembling the bolts...

Local shop used the Loktite stuff on 1 of my wheels....problem is when it heats up it tuns to a brown oily substance and seeps out. NOT GOOD.....Only use the Castrol Optimolly stuff...it stays consistent under high heat.
I buy the Castrol at Reeve Porsche in Tampa or Suncoast Porsch in Sarasota.
