Haha see other thread. He you and me taking penalty kicks... that wouldn't be fair now would it vs the rest on here? I don't think there are any other footballers on RL... and we know that footballers all drive Aston Martins and Bentley GT's

But yes this is an interesting discussion. Sure once can go big as ever on these _but_ it depends on what you're going for, right? You want to try and keep the integrity/electricity of the GT3 motor in tact with whatever build you go with. Tried all sorts of different sizes in terms of bore/stroke and balanced it against response etc...

How about we test just how fast the 4.1 is, and if it can either out accelerate a 30 yd shot by me, or if i can ping the ball off it while you accelerating away, 20 yd gap to start.

RSR is 80.4mm same as stock 4.0RS. To get to 4.4L you'd need 84-85mm, to get to 4.5L needs 86. This is all assuming 105mm bore...

Well... My car has the 4.0 suspension already... I believe with the RSS tarmac series, the chasis will be able to handle!

It really is turbo grunt with normally aspirated response. Devastating combo. I can only imagine the 4.4 will be even more so.
Are there some numbers on these cars, I'd need to see 128+ traps to even begin to believe the 4.1 cars would be in the same ballpark. Stock 2010 gt3 trap 118-119. Stock gt2 about 10 mph faster. 65-80 hp and down a bunch of torque isn't going to bridge that gap. Take the wing off of a 500 hp 4.0 and it might trap 125. Still down.

Even still with an exhaust and tune for throttle response and no added boost. I'd take the GT2 to win all day. Especially if you put similar aero to an RS on it and the suspension mods that are on most of these project cars. Cup car times all day in a street car.

Yes, and the article states that 4.0l's max is 9600 rpm.

Makes me wonder what happened to the 4.4l - 5.2l Boxer engines from Koro ( Kadach Racing ) back in 2003 ?
