i am buying a GT3 which owner says it overheats in summer and traffic,, he claims that normal and common since GT3 is a track car with less radiators/fans than regular 911,,
is that true?
if yes,, any work around it?

Regularly deal with 100-deg weather here and track in the same conditions. Have not come across overheating myself on the street or track. Definitely not on street, traffic or not. On track I pit when oil hits 250F but that doesn't happen at least until my 10th hot lap... YMMV as I'm probably tame compared to many trackrats here)

Not true, at least in my experience. It is possible that the radiator fan (only one in a GT3) low speed has died (resistor burns out) so that in stop & go the fan isn't coming on when needed. In my case, I bypassed this resistor so the fan comes on full speed when needed. I drive my car in very hot conditions (over 100 deg F), track, etc. and it never overheats.

Where are you located?
Looks like someone from the middle east posted which is the extreme, but I've driven the car in the CA deserts and not had an issue, just not in stop/go traffic. You don't read about these cars over heating, here at least. If you're not in the middle east or US deserts, I'd question if there is some other issue.

I would be very suspicious of this claim of overheating. The GT3 has an extra radiator that the regular 911's do not have. From my track experience, the GT3's run cooler oil temperatures than the non-GT 911's. Some 911 owners fit the extra radiator in order to run cooler on the track.

If the car has overheated on several occasions, I would walk away. You might think it's a good deal until you have to rebuild the motor.

My .1 got warm in traffic in Orlando, was 101F out and we were stop and go with the AC on. Water temps crept passed middle and Oil was at around 230 or so. As soon as we started moving (20-30mph) it all came right back down... Need to get more specifics as to what an "overheat" is. If the car was in the red, that was a problem. If it ran hot on occasion in traffic, maybe not so big a deal... depends on the owner if they turned off the AC and turned the heat on (like I did) or not...

I have sat in traffic in 110 degree heat (central Calif valley) with the AC on full bore - it never rose more than 1 needle width above the center mark. Something doesn't sound right here.
