Proud new Porsche owner -- 2010 GT3 RS
Now that I've had a couple weeks to get my first PCar settled into the house, here's my intro post to Rennlist. Picked up this beauty from Nizer about 2 weeks ago. I considered transporting it, but in the end, my impatience and desire for some miles to get to know the car won out. I flew in and Warren was kind enough to pick me up at the airport. After some conversation, looking over the car, and signing some papers, I was on my way back to the DC area. Despite some drizzle early on, it was a great weekend to drive the car back with the fall foliage.
At my first stop, already had folks taking pictures. One guy literally came running out of the gas station to ask to take pictures.
After about 520 miles and 9 hours with stops and traffic, I finally arrived home to squeeze her in the open garage slot next to the E55. The next morning, I had a blast letting the kids "discover" the new ride in the garage. My son had the exact expression I do while I'm driving this around.
This weekend, I took a trip with the family in our van to pickup the stock wheels and suspension bits from Warren. I appreciated the hospitality and smooth transaction on his part, and I look forward to enjoying this around town, on cruises, and at the track. Truly a dream car for me!

Congrats on the new car!! the black wheels look great. where abouts are you in DC? I am in NoVA. I have a potential gt3 but nothing finalized.
