Default .2 RS conversion???

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...t_54480wt_1219

Take a high mileage .1 GT3. Apply RS decals and a wing, paint the wheels, update bumpers and call it a .2 RS conversion??? Did I miss the engine swap?

Must have... they're asking more than market for a low mileage .2 GT3.

OK, I kinda get the custom conversions that Porsche never built. But why "clone" an RS? I could accept a GT3 with RS graphics...but the RS badging is intentional misrepresentation.

50k 997.1 gt3 with clean title - $70k ish
Add rep bumpers, rep wing, rep graphics - $10k ish (if even)

Now list it for $120k
Sell it for $110k to someone who "likes" it
At least on this "wicked" project they have a clean title

These guys are the biggest bunch of Hacks.
Doing the .2 update is just lame to begin with. Total poser. adding bumpers and lights to look "current".
The cherry on top however is the .2RS badges on a .1 non RS. The worst decals of all time and mis-representing the model.
So many owners of .2RS spend money to delete these graphics/clown color accents and these idiots go out of their way to install them and think it is "Wicked".

FYI: they forgot the 3.8L, centerlocks and the rear quarter panels. Bunch of Cake decorators. ($100 bucks says the car was theft recovered or small accident unreported)

This car reminds me of this:

If they can't even get a $5 sticker right (look at the rear quarter panel) how can the rest of the product be worth any more than that?

I'm an ardent believer in, and preacher of, manufacturing quality. F_ck up the smallest detail and you f_ck up the whole product.

I'm in a process of building GT3-R look car out of regular 997S. At the end it'll be a track car identical look to GT3-R with 400 engine and about 1150 kg weight. Huge downforce, light weight, we expect it to be as fast or even faster then 997 Cup Car.
