The M&M center is built like a tank. Recommended for serious track rats.

How loud is the M&M exhaust and how much does it weigh?

It is deeper and more throaty than stock. Absolutely louder, but not obscenely so. I think dumping the side mufflers is not only a great way to shed weight, but the heat retention in the side mufflers is significant. The M&M will also develop a bit of legitimate HP over stock. Well made too.

I'm pretty sensitive to noise and it doesn't drone, but it is louder than stock, not as loud as bypass with sport button on... but sounds great, I get lots of compliments and does improve power...

^ I cannot agree with Jamie's statement about drone, as my particular setup (with 200-cell GMG headers) drones horribly around 3krpm. It's bad and very noticeable--so bad that my pals would refuse to drive my car to/from the track.

That said the muffler build quality is superb and I'm sure it'll last many track events unlike the OEM Ti/Steel part. It also gives a nice pop/burble on throttle lift which I've always wanted

I think there's a difference from 3.6 to 3.8 and maybe it has something to do with your headers, CRex but, I have stock cats/headers + the M&M set up in my 3.8. I have no drone at "driving rpms"...there is an awful drone from around 1800-2200ish rpms, I only found that out when I was lugging around town in 5th, a quick drop to 4th and everything was perfect. No drone doing the speed limit in 6th on the highway, again I'm stock headers and cats though.

I love the sound.

I think this set up is incredible and a great price, GLWS and the buyer who gets this should enjoy it

Jamie, will it fit a 2011 GT3? Any sound clips available? I'm interested

Hi Guys,

Just to clarify some points about the exhausts. Not all M&M are the same. These in particular is a 76mm unit (if I'm not mistaken) Works very well on 3.6 cars and also on 3.8 cars. On 3.6 cars could generate minimum amount of drone on low RPMs. On 3.8RS with the short gearing the drone is basically inexistent, first because of the harmonics, and also gearing.

@ Crex, your drone is most likely caused by the different design headers and free flowing cats, once we change the headers is a game. My car for example was LOUD and a lot of drone, as I used no cats and quite large headers for power gains across the board.

For those who requested sou clips -

Stock 3.8RS with M&M side muffler delete system -

Stock 4.0RS with M&M side muffler delete system -

Very good pricing from Jamie, and also stand up seller. Buy with confidence.

How does this sound compare to a sharky bypass?

It's a deeper around town, not as loud as sharky with sport button on, but a little louder with it off...

@ Jamie, let me make this clear.
based on what you told, when sport mode on, it is gonna be louder than center bypass?

This isn't correct...

Sharky or equivalent Bypass with sport mode on is louder

M&M is always running through the center muffler so it's quieter on sport mode, but likely not by much...
