I recently added a 2013 E92 M3 and had the dealer add the inconel M Performance Exhaust Dinan Cold Air Intake and Stage I Softwarw (maintains warranty also). Aside from horrible mileage cause I always have my foot in it the car absolutely hauls *** and makes just the right amount of noise (not obnoxious at all). It is a super cruiser on the highway and is surprisingly comfortable for 4 adults. Love it.

I don't have a GT3 but my 993 is seriously massaged regeared and all...the E92 is the perfect stablemate as I faced the exact same scenario as you did. None of those other cars came close after a drive.
