There was a Panamera gran turismo concept that did not end up getting greenlight (in the concept form) that I really liked. It looks like Tesla Model S is where it is at then Interesting coming from the gt3 faithful.
On the RS5 front, unlike RS6, this one is naturally aspirated too (I think one of the posts mentioned NA engine choice restricting that option) and is totally in the running right behind M3.
My current problem is that the 5.8liter stroker M5 does everything I need it to, including a 0-60 of less than 4 second (if I can hook all that power), the sound, the handling. I am just toying with the idea of replacing it and then I drive it and forget all about other cars (except gt3).

4.2 is conservative - but not entirely inaccurate - for purposes of this discussion I would limit the conversation to the P85 or P85+ -many many testers have done better than 4.2 - with some reporting 3.9…
the thing to remember is since there is no shifting 4.2/4.0 is achievable with virtually no effort or skill…just mash the pedal and let the AC-Induction motor do the rest…

Sure the mileage is less than stellar, it is a twin turbo 550hp/590tq V8, so I knew that going in but the utility, ergonomics, speed, sound, etc -- all great.
I would trade it straight across for an FF though :-)

FF will continue to tank imho -- I like them... I think I am in the minority though...
I have not seen one in person yet but they certainly have character -- sort of look like a larger and more usable Z3M coupe
if that is on your list -- that is my vote
I do like a reasonably low profile in a dd and the FF fails that test.
In Seattle a Tesla is low profile as they sell them like hotcakes here

I have an RS5 good for two regular and two smaller people so not a lot of room. Sweet car though and the V8 with sport exhaust at 8400 RPM is awesome...NOT a track car at all. Surprisingly nimble for its weight...

The Tesla's lack of sound (therefore lack of fun) would be a deal-breaker for me. I think the OP should keep his honed M5.
If I were in this market, a C63 would be tough to beat for moderately priced hooliganism, though it's porky and no stick available, which might lead to a M3 or S4/RS4...
