My Singer 911 2014 Restoration

If it's a custom/hand made unit than I would personally like to have the car bit further lowered and the wheels slightly tucked in side those arches.... But than again, what do I know? If it was me, I would buy a RUF CTR2 no question asked
In my honest opinion, the rear end needs to be tucked down a little bit

Its done to keep the 'old skool' look, if they went RWB on it, it would have a totally different feel and market as it would be more 'racer' than classic.
I think singer could accommodate a lower stance and closed wheel/arch gap if that's what you wanted.

I'd build it 100% street / show car.
Old, classic look like above, big engine with torque, maybe even Turbo, classic color, comfy and pure.
Cant wait to hear about the first major decisions :-)

Meet one of the principles of Singer two weeks ago at Supercar Sunday in LA. Seemed like a very genuine person and he invited me too the facility. As much as I would love a Singer here is my current order of wanted Porsche cars.
1) Black or red CGT
2) Black or orange .1RS
3) Tie between black 4.0 and singer
Congrats to OP and I would go with a dark rich black as well and try to incorporate some of Carrera Gt's ideas.

TO OP, have you actually driven a singer? What were your impressions with handling and power delivery?
I personally would want something like ZR1 type power delivery (torque/horses low down baby)

Of course color is a very personal choice, and the car will look perfect in any shade you choose, I'm sure... but this green really jumped out at me. Saw last weekend in Irvine. Owner mentioned the color (its OEM) but I have forgotten what he said it was. Looked fantastic.

To this day Sascha Glaser remembers me as the Nordic Metallic Turbo guy because when we built a car together a few years back thats what I chose. Such a rare color too. But oh would it look good on a long hooded Singer. I think so, no nay sayers please.

As far as colors, check the CPR (California Porsche restoration) site...they currently have Tangerine, Signal Yellow, Signal Orange, Oslo Blue, etc. in progress.
Also check "Early 911S Registry", in particular a thread tilted "Another Hot Rod"...beautiful Olive 911 Hot Rod done (I believe) by AA in Canton CT.
