Anybody want in? Guy has 4 race prepped E30 bmw's. I used them at the Glen a couple weeks ago and it was a friggin hoot.

Would be a lot more fun if we had a group.

It will be my first time in any BWM on the track so I've watched some Spec E30 videos from VIR and it looks like they can go straight up the hill using mucho curbing so it should be a blast.

Now that's racing. Damn. Those two were getting after it. You're going to love the E30. Huge fun. It's like a 200hp go cart with a cage.

There's two more rentals available. And they're cheap. Grab your tiny little dutch friend with the perm and come on up. I'll personally take care of your bar tab if that works as enticement.

Damage liability cost? What's the cost on that? $850 for practice day and two races or just DE?

It's $850 a day, for whatever you want to use it for. Robbing banks, picking up prostitutes, racing, DE. Your call.

The total replacement value on the car is $12k.

I put track insurance on it when I went to the Glen a couple weeks ago. It was $100 a day. And I over insured it to cover the deductible.

So essentially, for $200, I could wad the thing up and walk away. No liability.

I am using Lochton Affinity track insurance on both the GT3 and these rentals. Been really pleased so far.

Renter takes care of tires, brakes, fuel... Everything. Literally just pay attention to you watch for run times and go.

I cracked a rotor, he fixed it. The abs wasn't working and I flat spotted a tire, he replaced it. I literally did nothing other than drive it.

I greased him $100 for the faster car with the refreshed engine, LSD and gear box - so that is $33 extra a day in my budget - that and he is reinforcing the front bumper so I can punt Andrew off in the uphill essex - winning the DE is of upmost importance to me
