Guys- I wish I could go, but the NASA event right here in my backyard at PIR will keep me from doing the 1000 mile round trip. I will see you guys at THill at least once before the end of the year.

Any further thoughts on Miller in September?

guys, be prepare for a crazy hot weekend. So far forecast predict 96F-101F next weekend. We just did Thunderhill last weekend and it was 105F-108F and we got roasted. I drank more than 10 bottle of water each day and still manage to lose 4 lbs. I highly recommend bring some sort of pop up canopy or park under cover awning and stay off the sun. We had several pop up canopy plus water mister under the tent and still crazy hot. mooty throw his cool shirt in the ice cooler after each session and put them on drench wet before each session to stay cool ... crazy guy

Here is our setup. 12X12 pop up canopy work better than 10X10

POC event page still shows reg is closed (still too far out). I know this is a combined POC/PCA event, but haven't found it listed with PCA yet.

Drl - your donation to the canopy will be greatly appreciated. I'll donate my wheels to tie it down (at least I feel like I am contributing)

Is there a carport for rental or something?

Nah, he's just being Mooty. But in all fairness, you do need to be there the prior evening by 5pm in order to get your car tech'd and find a good spot under the canopies. The one closest to the club house is the most coveted. Note that you are not allowed to park a truck or trailer under the canopy - cars only.

Thx,
canopy will be helpful so you get a break from the sun if you have to change tires etc. I did not have canopy past weekend and almost past out from heat exhaustion after changing front tires (15 minutes). Will bring my water mister to cool down the track nuts
