It's super low mileage, but wow, that's an aggressive price.

As a newbie to Porsches, am I mistaken in thinking that this would be less desirable to most compared to a similar vintage/option gt3?

I would not give up the throttle response and linearity of a NA engine, not to mention the sound, in exchange for rocket ship acceleration. This price is definitely interesting and the spec is fantastic.. But I wonder how many repairs it would need after basically not running for five yrs. who buys a car like this and then just parks it?

U will be surprised that there are some out there who likes to buy and park.. Wash car every weekend, take pics, do nothing with it. It is more of an art piece. I personally know few who has multiple high end cars and park it. Covered up in car cover.. Never see sunlight.. Drive to get gas on Sunday morning, get coffee..
Then park it next to their F cars and P cars. Whatever makes him happy I guess...

Auto Gallery always seems to list at very high prices. I don't think most of their cars sell anywhere near their list prices, though. But still, quite a turnoff to folks who don't frequent their inventory.

Some of the right options, some not so right. Wheel controls and carbon rim on the wheel indicate street car use. Deviated stitching is nice, but no leather PCM, plastic center console is not. $160k is optimistic, but I bet it'll sell at the $150k mark, there's an *** for every seat...

Looked at the car last Friday and its very clean. They are negotiable on the price.

Yeah, I think they will get close to asking price. These cars are hard to find, and the prices have been going up...

With such little use, I'm sure it has to be one of the cleanest (cosmetically) 997 GT2s out there.

On a sidenote, Mclaren dealers in SoCal have taken a LOT of GT3s as trade-ins for MP4-12Cs. Last summer I was seeing a new one every week.

...Beverly Hills resident walks into the Mclaren dealer and buys one for himself, one for his wife, one for his girl friend, and a used GT2 for the butler! no big deal, just rounding error! ...
