993gt2 was running on uranium plasma jet engine I think.

VBOX is fast and simple.
Plug and play, drive take out SD card. Done.

2 files come out, one with very good data and one that shows all the data overplayed on 2 cameras. Perfect for looking at what you are doing and most importantly for TCN, ready to upload to YouTube.

Tks ... one more time.

That 993 is NASTY, take in consideration that my RS had 30-35 whp more than a regular RS. I could keep up with 4.0s on straights. The 993 is a 993 Turbo converted into a RSR and the owner is also a nice guy. Very well sorted car, light and about 600WHP. He was lapping 2:12s (997 Cup 3.6 lap times) while I was struggling to follow doing 15-16s.

The RS is extremely capable in the right hands, and with a few things here and there. There is one specific modification, that I haven't seen in any car to date ... that makes a big difference in how the car reacts, and it's balance.

I haven't used the VBox, but I considered it before buying a Solo DL. Solo DL has worked really well for me. I've been waiting for the Aim's Smartycam HD to begin shipping, which should happen in the next few weeks.
What really makes these gadgets useful is having a buddy with the same device so that you can load lap data into the same software and sort out where and why someone is faster. This makes t a great learning tool.

Dez, you have PM.

K24 was a very good turbo, and is if you want to keep stock manifold etc.
I would go with a set of 5858 or maybe something a little smaller.
Saw a 997 TT on a set of 5858, spooling faster than a 996TT with built motor and HEADS on K24 18G and making 800WHP on a dynojet in 22psi.
