+1 for mobil delvac, just recently put it in my 7.1 GT3 and the trans sounds / feels much better. They should only be charging 1hr labor, so $200-$250 all in cost is reasonable.

Find a good indie ... Flint works in Campbell is where I take my 996. He used lubromoly (Porsche oe supplier) and I think <200 for change if I recall correctly

Wow! 700 for engine and tranny oil!!

It cost me
100 for engine oil and filter
70 for tranny fluid

About 2.5 hours of labor taking my time.

Changing your own oil is easy. I dont even jack up my car to do it, I have a low profile oil catch that i can slide right under. I would never pay 200 bucks to have my oil changed. If you would like me to show you how to do it yourself sometime let me know.

Concur for stock transaxle, but few here will listen to Porsche AG on this one.

See my DIY. Draining the transaxle is easy but filling it up is harder to do, especially without a lift.

Default 2024 price estimates

What are the reasonable price estimates for 2024? I have a 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera.
