Default OT: WTB E36 M3

Since I hang out here and know some of y'all, I'm looking for a decent condition E36 to use for a while for learning some basics.
Would like to find one in the SE that is track-worthy. I prefer to buy one that has records and hasn't been passed around too much. I would be willing to put seats, bar, harnesses in but I don't want one that needs lots of repairs.
PM me if you know one. Thanks.

Yeah, I would have better odds elsewhere but wanted to ask around with the folks I know.

Tracking a lesser car for a while is a suggestion of a coach I've been working with so I could better learn car control basics w/o having to worry so much about wrecking an expensive Mezger collector's item.

Lindsey,

Good move I did it and it helped until a little off after turn 16.

Going to be hard to find a low owner M3 and most are owned be kids. I will keep my eyes out but I would suggest you keep a Spec Miater as another option. Cheap to run and hold resale value very well.

E36 M3 is a great car, and a great learning tool.

+1

Will be hard to find a low owner 17 yo car. Regardless do the due diligence on your buy and you'll be fine. Great fun platform. And easier on the pocket book.

Ill keep my ears open.

If your interested in a track ready car, Veskco at Milller has a E36 m3 race car for sale well built and fast. He runs and built the Skull Candy Nissan that won the ST class at Daytona this year, and it seems pretty cheap for a ready to run car. pm for #

Lindsey, talk to Bimmerworld or Fall-Line to see if they know of any good cars. If I sell mine, I will let you know! Original owner. No sunroof. Full welded cage. Moton 2-way Motorsports suspension. Heh...
