PPI of course, as long as it has wear consistent with 60K miles, I'm good.

Nick, I don't agree. Any other car, yes.

The new GT3 is now so expensive it now really makes a 996GT3 at 60K a bargain and even a .2RS at $135K would be preferred by many.

Its not that the .2RS should not drop, its just that they have no room to go down.
A new RS will be $180ish with a few options. Lots of money for what should be called a GTS if they go GT# direction.

Makes the 4.0 MSRP even a bargain.

So, I don't think many will dump them and even if they do there is more demand than supply.
I don't know any of the local track junkies that is getting a 991 GT3 for the track, I hope a few will to test it out. I would but at $140K with the C2S 991 depreciating alarmingly I think I better let someone else do the testing. I will volunteer to test drive the new Corvette so we'll know if that is a future DE option or not.

I may do a Euro delivery 991RS to try it for myself, but I hope a few will go before me to figure out if they will hold up on track and or if they are still fun to drive. It just seems too much money for unlimited supply cars that this time will be in INVT at the dealers because they are pricing the car out of the track junkie market.

The on track 991 trashing 997 part remains to be seen.
I think the poseur ratio is actually pretty small as there is a lot of baller stuff for sale for similar money that never will go over 100MPH and may never experience kick down except for when the valet parking guy drives it.

Those cars are typically worth 5-% of new price within a few tears. Not so for the last 4 years GT3's.

I get that RS's are special; but don't you guys think a .2 non-RS w/ less than 1/5 of the miles as this one for about the same price is a better deal?

there is always a catch. I believe this used to be Mikymu's car and after that fritz Flynn, car has history and also a track car, was offered in the 70s last year, and now on the mid 80s. Def. not bad.

this is what they go for, and I would still pay more for a RS car.

you can find .1RS in the last two years for 85-95k
85K if you are patient enough.
That little green example would be a fun car to own for 85k.

That's my/Mike's old car the current seller replaced the rear bumper with the stock bumper.

I got a great deal, the guy I sold it to got a great deal the dealers deal is the usual BAD DEAL LOL

Car has too many track miles, paint/body/repair history, a leaky rear main seal etc.....

If the windshield is new, rms fixed, fresh rubber, rotors and pads with CPO I'd say it's a 80k car MAX. Otherwise buy a 95k RS with less than 10k miles that hasn't been tracked. These transmissions aren't cheap to build and the clutch will need to be replaced fairly soon etc...etc... again it probably has 7500 plus track miles. The engine, trans and clutch are probably in better shape on the 60k .2 RS and again THAT's the killer deal right now IMO or come up with another fifty for the .2 RS with the move it kit..........

wow, they actually swapped bumpers!

they must be trying to hide the paint factor... they also managed to find RS wheels too.
75K car.

didnt this car have a Guard LSD in it?

Yep has the guard.

One other thing to consider is the interior was completely stripped and then put back in which is not a good thing. Holes cut in the floor pan front and rear for the cage etc...etc....

75k in the current market is a fair price at 85k not so good but hey dealers have to earn a living right and we just do this BS for fun

Hey guys I am the one selling the car for a good friend of mine.

I picked the car up today and then dropped it off at the body shop to repair a nick in the rear deck lid and to have the car detailed. They are trying to have it ready Friday. If all goes well I can show it Saturday and Sunday.

I also want to update options and description.

The good...
PCCB
Carbon Fiber Sport Seats
Sport Chrono
Active engine mounts
Bluetooth
Front end lift
NAV
Phone option? Maybe for using Bluetooth and connecting with your own phone?

The bad...
Couple of wheels have nicks from curb rash and need to be refinished
Steering wheel alcanteria looks kinda beat and should be recovered
The gold grill opening has a fair amount of rock chips yet the bumper looks pretty damn good. Need to repaint grill opening.
Exhaust leak (I will fix that prior to sale).

The body looks fantastic. Interior looks great too other than steering wheel and very slight bolster wear on the drivers seat.

Tom
