We've been talking about Nitto NT01's for 2 years and I honestly do not believe that Nitto is going to make a tire that solved the overall diameter size issue for a 997 based Porsche. GT3 guys can make the 245/315 sizes work though. Carrera based 997 guys..I'm not sure. I'm not a fan of the lower than stock spec load number for the 315 NT01 but so far I've not heard of any fail issues.

from what i understood so far any 997 car runs just fine on 245/315 nt01. no psm issues.
i think i will try it.

i am very interested to learn about new bfg tires. if they are at least close to nt01 and also work acceptably well in rain it may be enough reason for me to go with them. only problem with that is same backwards ratio if you use 245/315 as i am not a fan of 245/335 at all.

I will try the rivals when the RA1 stash is done, unless some manufacturer releases a better candidate for the wet. May be a while unless I find some more CCW or Fikse wheels at a decent price.

You will be the slowest guy in a GT3 if you do They are a wicked fun tire, but still 3-4 seconds off the pace of a Titto (toyo or nitto).

I just finally corded my MPSS rears after about 12k street miles and around 5 track days.

I like buying the nittos from these guys if they have them in stock. They averaged around $120 less (shipped) than DTD. Fast shipping too.
